What is the difference between an ultrasonic diffuser and a humidifier diffuser?
The diffuser is designed primarily to disperse essential oils. The humidifier, on the other hand, adds moisture to the ambient air and can also diffuse fragrance if a few drops of essential oil are added.
What capacity should I choose for my humidifier diffuser?
130 ml → ideal for a bedroom, an office or a small space (3 to 4 hours of autonomy).
300 ml → perfect for living room, large office or living space (6 to 8 hours of autonomy).
Can essential oils be used in these humidifier diffusers?
Yes, but only a few drops in the reservoir. Avoid oils that are too thick (resinous or sugary) as they could clog the device.
How do I maintain my humidifier diffuser?
Empty and rinse the tank after each use. Clean it once a week with water and a little white vinegar to prevent limescale and oily deposits.
If you change essential oils or if the diffusion is less intense, change the cotton wick inside the humidifier diffuser.
Does the device automatically shut off when the tank is empty?
Yes, most models are equipped with a safety system that automatically shuts off the device as soon as there is no more water.
